One of the classic “Dawg Music” tunes from mandolin legend David Grisman, this spooky sounding tune is a great addition to any progressive jammers repetition. In this lesson you will learn a slick Melodic Style rendition of the tune that accurately portrays the melody, but isn’t terribly hard to play. Although Opus 38 is also a good candidate for the Single String style, this Melodic version will allow you to play it at much faster tempos and give you that smooth sound that you want. Get started in this today and you’ll officially be a newgrass banjo picker!
Be sure to practice with the Backing Track HERE, that way you’ll be jamming 🙂
