The great fiddler Tommy Jackson wrote this classic fiddle tune by adding a B part to an older hoedown called Lost Indian, or so the legend goes. In any case, this piece has become a staple at jam sessions across the country, and is one of the easier “crooked” fiddle tunes to bring to a jam (meaning the B part has two extra measures, but it sounds so natural that most folks never even notice!).

Backing Tracks lesson for this tune and try your hand on the faster tempo...happy pickin!
