Written by Bob Dylan in 1962, this song has become the stuff of legends, and has been covered by artists such as Peter, Paul and Mary, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard,  Glen Campbell, Dolly Parton,  Johnny Cash, Odetta, Burl Ives and the Indigo Girls, just to name a few! This tasty banjo lead uses “High A Tuning” (aDGBD) which allows us to play it in D, and then capo up to the second fret to get us into Bob Dylan’s key of E. But you’ll also get audio tracks for D and G, just in case you need to play it on other keys.
