This classic by John Prine has worked it’s way into the bluegrass repertoire, so it’s high time you, the cutting edge banjoist, had a lead for it. Well now you do! This lead is arranged in G, but of course all you have to do is capo at the 2nd fret for A, the 4th fret for B, and in those cases where the lead singer insists on playing it in D, we have another banjo lead in D HERE (or you can always just throw your capo on the 7th fret and play it Ralph Stanley style…)
