Designed for beginner and new intermediate players, this lesson is like going to the gym for your banjo. We take the two most important rolls, the Square and the Forward-Reverse, and use them in a variety of combinations that will train your right hand to become the motor that is necessary for good Scruggs Style banjo playing. You’ll learn to fluidly switch between the rolls, and then add in basic chord shapes like G, C, D7 and Em. We even include the Bar Positions for C and D, so you can start moving up the neck. This is a super fun lesson and will boost your playing by several levels, as well as provide a great way to warm up before your practice sessions. Get into the banjo Gym!
